When we think of God, many images come to mind. In the traditional sense, God is the Creator of the Universe, the Supreme Being who presides over the earth in varying degrees of participation. He is the judge of the living and the dead, the Alpha and Omega, an ever present help in trouble.

Indeed, the God of the Bible is all these things…and yet He is more. As we seek Him — not for what He does but for who He is — we discover a fundamental aspect of God. He is a loving Father who desires sons and daughters...

Father Son Theology is the unveiling of the heart of God. It is the bedrock of all we desire in our relationship with God. To uncover God’s true nature, Father Son Theology identifies the key attributes and refutes the myriad of inaccurate assumptions regarding God’s nature.

In all this, Father Son Theology does not tell us what to think about God. Rather, it frees us to experience God as He intended. It presents the truth, and the truth sets us free.

For this reason, a detailed systematic theology is required to unravel the confusion and illuminate our darkened understanding. As John tells us, light emanates from God’s nature. “In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind” (John 1:4). Knowing God’s heart is really quite simple. Separating the truth from the confusion, however, requires a bit more effort.

Dr. Harold Eberle has spent years patiently unearthing and uprooting our false impressions of God so that the Body of Christ could be presented with a clear, accurate and unfettered image of our Father.
